What’s Covered

Our Platinum Warranty protects against sudden and unforeseen failures of key mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Cover includes (but isn’t limited to):

1. Engine – All components within the cylinder block and head, including pistons, rings, crankshaft, big end bearings, manifolds, rocker assembly, timing chains/gears, distributor drive.
2. Turbo Unit – All components including inlet and exhaust turbine shafts, bearings, bushes, wastegate devices.
3. Gearbox – All components in manual or automatic transmissions, including gears, bearings, clutches.
4. Clutch – All components including clutch plate, clutch cover, thrust bearing and/or release bearing.
5. Differential – All components including gears, pinions, bearings, shafts.
6. Drive Shafts – All components including propshaft, drive shafts, C.V. joints, couplings.
7. Brakes – All components including servo units, cylinders, valves.
8. Suspension – All components including control arms, bushings, ball joints, pins.
9. Steering – All components on steering systems including power steering units, rams, pumps, reservoirs, steering box.
10. Bearings – All components including wheel bearings, seals, hubs, flanges.
11. Cooling System – All components including radiator, matrix, water pump, head gasket, thermostat.
12. Ventilation – All components including heater assembly vents, tubes, controls.
13. E.C.U. – All components including solid state control units, triggering units, distributor, coil.
14. Electrics – All components including motors, solenoids, relays, alternator, starter motor, switches, computers.
15. Air Conditioning – All components including compressors, pumps, reservoirs.
16. Fuel System – All components including fuel pump, carburettor, sender units, gauges, air flow meters, accumulator, fuel distributor, regulator.
17. Locks – All components including regulators, handles, locks, catches.
18. Seals – All major oil seals and gaskets.

This cover protects against failures, not routine wear-and-tear or servicing items.

Simple Claims Process

We’ve made it quick and hassle-free:

1. If your vehicle develops a fault, stop driving and call the A1 Claims Department within 7 days.
2. Repairs must be authorised before work begins.
3. Once repairs are complete, payment is made directly to the repairer—often on the same day.

Your claim limit is protected up to the purchase price of your vehicle.

Keep Your Cover Valid

To ensure continuous protection, your car must be serviced in line with the manufacturer’s schedule. Proof of servicing will be required if you make a claim.

What’s Not Included

Our Platinum Warranty does not cover:

1. Normal wear-and-tear parts (e.g. bulbs, exhausts, belts, brake pads, tyres)
2. Routine servicing or maintenance items
3. Software updates or tracking/alignment charges
4. Damage caused by misuse, incorrect fuel, or lack of coolant/oil
